Book Into Doula Care – Birth Takes a Village

Complete the following three steps to book into doula care with me:

Step 1: Intake Form

Complete this online client Intake Form and submit it.  

By submitting the form, you are agreeing to the Service Agreement. Please review the agreement before submitting your intake form. If you wish, you may download and print the agreement for your records.

Step 2: Deposit 

Email transfer your deposit to [email protected]

Note: 50% of the full fee is the standard deposit for booking your space in my calendar, with the remainder due on or by the first of the month of your guess date.

Some clients choose to pay all up front, and others split the fee up into multiple payments. I am flexible in terms of payment plan options; simply indicate on the intake form which payment plan you would like to use.  5% GST applicable to all services.  

*If you cancel your booking any time within first trimester, you are eligible for a full refund. 

Step 3: Book Your Appointments

Once you have submitted your intake form and deposit, book your prenatal visits with me. *Please do not book your prenatal visits until your forms and deposit have been sent in!

I normally see clients 2-3 times in addition to their initial consultation.

  1. After/near completion of your prenatal classes (if applicable)
  2. At ~36 weeks of pregnancy (or one week after visit #1, whichever is later)
  3. At 41 weeks. We will cancel this meeting if you birth before it comes!

Step 5: Read This Important Additional Info

Before our prenatal visits, please feel free to email me with any questions! I also ask my clients to send me a quick email after every visit with their primary attendant to keep us in contact.

With my doula support, you get out what you seek out! If you remember to contact me with questions and keep me in the loop about what you’re discussing with your primary attendant, etc, I can provide you with resources and info and be a sounding board for you as you make decisions along the way. If you don’t reach out, I can’t help!

Just a heads up – due to the nature of birth doula work, I am occasionally away from my home office for several days at a time and may not always be able to respond to emails immediately. If you require URGENT access to me prenatally, please phone me (604-700-4115) and let me know you need to speak with me urgently. If it’s a non-urgent inquiry or request for info, it may occasionally take me a couple of days to get back to you if I happen to be at a birth with a different client. I typically am only able to respond to non-urgent calls and emails only during daytime hours on weekdays. Of course, if it’s something urgent (or you’re having your baby) I’m available around the clock

If you’ve completed submitted your intake form and deposit, and booked your prenatal visits, you’re in! I will be in touch once the above steps have been completed and we will move forward from there. I’m looking forward to working with you!
